JOB VACANCY – OFFICE SUPPORT
A full-time position has arisen with our company for an Office Support.
Your working hours would be Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.
The job would entail covering various offices (Bearsted, Barming, Headcorn, Walderslade and Strood) whilst funeral directors are on funerals, annual leave or general support when the offices are busy.
If successful, you will eventually be able to learn the processes for funerals, arrange occasional funerals with bereaved families and add details onto the computer as well as other administration duties that would be needed including any telephone queries. Full Training will be given.
Personal qualities required:
Be able to listen to clients.
Attention to detail.
Be computer literate to a good standard, including Word, Excel and Google.
Have own car and full driving licence.
Smart in appearance although uniform will be supplied after a successful probation period.
Calm, friendly, approachable and empathetic towards bereaved families.
Be able to prioritise jobs when busy.
Non-smoker would be preferable.
