The FFS are very professional and well organised, at the same time as kind and caring. Fast feedback and progress to put everything in line for a carrying funeral. A lot of work was put in from them into the order of service layout and modification to meet our needs, without fuss. I would like to thank Sam for her untiring effects. The advice and support offered was superb and always given with compassion and great sensitivity. It really means the world when you know that you and your loved one is being cared for with such kindness and warmth. My husband did not want a 'conventional funeral' or any kind of memorial, he simply wanted a funeral director to remove him from his death bed and arrange his unpublicised cremation as convenient. There were to be no flowers, no church service, no 'wake'. The Family Funeral Service complied with all his wishes, even down to not notifying me of any arrangements until they were all completed. Towards the end of his life, he asked me to bury his ashes and these were returned to me as requested. I was given the advice I needed and he was given the simplicity he had asked for. I have since recommended these funeral directors to a friend who asked where she could find a company who would do the same thing for her.

We used Family Funeral Service in Headcorn for my dad’s funeral, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. From the very first conversation, they were incredibly professional, supportive, and understanding. Nothing was too much trouble, and they guided us through every step with care and compassion. Communication was excellent – they were always easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions, which made the whole process so much less stressful. They handled everything with such respect and attention to detail, and it really meant a lot to our family. Thank you for helping us give my Dad the send-off he deserved.

Highly recommend this company. The staff are so professional but more than that..... they are compassionate and definitely go way beyond just doing ‘a job’. Kim has been truly fantastic and so kind. They always went above and beyond - their support and understanding is amazing. A mere thank you is really not enough.
