Business Management team Kim Barton
When you meet the team, you may meet Kim who has been with the company for years now, and has a wealth of funeral related experience over two decades. She is responsible for the entire company administration. Anything related to invoices and payments to insurance, and dealing with all the office staff. Kim does so much more and I can hear her ringing my phone already. I would need a long paragraph to include it all and I am very lucky to have her great ability and her friendship.

Operation and Facilities Management team Lee Hawden
The photographer Craig finally caught up with this one. Lee ensures all the physical needs of the company are covered. He makes sure everyone is where they need to be, when they need, and with the correct vehicles and equipment. Again it sounds simple enough, but with five offices and, all the workshop staff, and the great attention to each and every funeral. Its quite a position. Lee has funeral history in his DNA. In fact if you could snap off a finger you would see ‘I was born a funeral director” running right through him. Highly skilled, and highly prized by the company, you’ll be in safe hands. That’s a promise.

Jo Amos Funeral Director team
Jo is our resident Funeral Director at Bearsted. A lady of great talent and ability. I think I need to say, mother and grandmother. (Jo will tell me to remove that I think, but her husband will be on my side) Loving, caring, and professional. You can be totally assured of her commitment to you and your loved one.

Fearn Braidwood Funeral Directors Assistant
Fearn. What can I say. Just the gentlest soul. Ever so slightly, and in the loveliest way, crazy as a box of frogs. And she will be rushing around trying to find the box of frogs now I’m quite sure. Off to the river to release them…. There she goes……. A brilliant member of the team and loved by everyone. If you meet her you will understand.
Sam is a Funeral Directors Assistant
Sam is our latest member of staff. Usually found supporting Jo, and meeting and dealing with families at the Bearsted office. We all hope that she will one day become our newest Funeral Director. But don’t let on! Funeral Directors Assistant is a critical role in this busy office. Ensuring continuity of contact with clients and outside agencies, Sam is vital to the smooth running of the service we provide.

Rik Moore Funeral Director team
Rik is quite the character, and he will hate that. But the most dedicated and caring of Funeral Directors. Rik has a wealth of funeral experience going back many years, and brings real dedication to his work here at the Barming office. His office he tells me! His standard of thoroughness is an example to all. When you deal with Rik (please call him Rik) you can just let him do it all. And it will be done. A Rock & Roll enthusiast at home but we don’t hold that against him.

He looks rather serious in that other picture. But I caught him making tea one day and I love this picture of him. Great guy. He totally hates it. Do tell him what you think.
Tara Phipps Funeral Director team
Another one to sa far elude the camera. But fear not, she will be got!
Tara is the resident Funeral Director at the lovely village office in Headcorn. Tara is a very kind and gentle lady and you can be assured of great attention to detail and thoroughness in her dealings with your family.
Chris Wall FSO team
FSO is funeral service jargon for Funeral Service Operative. Nothing operates without these guys.
Chris is a dedicated and very useful member of staff with his prior experience in the vehicle industry. Look at him. If ever there was a cool calm and collected chap. This is him. We should call him Bond! When you see Chris at the wheel, or opening the door for you. You are in a safe place, nothing seems to faze him.
Gary Kitney FSO team
FSO is funeral service jargon for Funeral Service Operative. Nothing operates without these guys.
This is Gary. Great guy with a wealth of experience and knowledge in funeral service. Always dependable, painfully polite and dignified. I’m so glad to have him with us, and with his electrical installation experience, he makes another great addition to the team. Love that blue on you Gary.
Ted Levett FSO team

Ted is a very gentle soul, calm, kind, thoughtful. If Ted is there on your day, you can be assured of the most polite and kindly service you could imagine. Another dedicated member of the team. They love wearing colour and here you can see Ted looks great in purple.
Andy Batstone FSO team
FSO is funeral service jargon for Funeral Service Operative. Nothing operates without these guys.
Andy is our “big guy”. Sometimes you just need some extra height or weight or strength. We just call Andy! He always seems to be smiling. Ex military service Andy is our “point and go” chap. I do have one issue. I want my jet wash back Andy! Since he got my new one nobody, and I mean nobody is allowed to use it!
If you look closely, you can see mischief!
