The resident Funeral Director here is Karan. I am sure she enjoys not having me there all the time, and she is a thoroughly excellent Funeral Director.

Having said that I live here Tara seems to have rather taken over! Tara is a lovely lady and an excellent experienced Funeral Director and will help you throughout your contact with us. She is another kind hearted person who you will feel completely at home with.

I cannot recommend Family Funeral Services enough. We first used their services in October 2017 for my Auntie's funeral. Kim and Jo were so kind, supportive and understanding, helping us all through this difficult time. An extremely professional and compassionate service. Recently after the loss of our Mum, we used Family Funeral Services again. Once again we received excellent service. Michael helped us plan the day, and gave us guidance and ideas that we would not have necessarily thought of at such a difficult and sad time. Also, reassuring us, when we double/triple -checked arrangements by phone and emails (often out of Office hours). The Funeral was very special and unique for our lovely Mum. Thank you. Karan and all at Family Funerals in Bearsted provided an outstanding service for us.

They took a huge weight off our minds at a very difficult time. Staff were always kind, compassionate and professional.

Nothing was too much trouble. The result was a perfect funeral service for our father.

We really appreciated the care and support they gave our mother too. She has significant mobility problems, and Karan and colleagues went above and beyond to ensure Mum had suitable transport to attend the service, wake and interment.

I would so strongly recommend Family Funeral Services. I recently lost my
husband and Karan was so compassionate and professional. She supported his daughters when the visited him in the
Chapel of Rest and she made me so supported and that I was her priority especially on his funeral day,
Which was also my birthday, giving me a few minutes with him
at the hearse. She has inspired me to maybe look at doing work in a funeral parlour once I'm ready to return to work

I would highly recommend FFS. The experience from the initial meeting planning my Dad's funeral, the actual service and interment of Dad's ashes was first class. The staff were all extremely kind, thoughtful and delivered a wonderful service. FFS also looked after my Mum's funeral a few years earlier and again were excellent providing much comfort to my Dad at the time. My Dad was very fond of Michael and the team and would have been touched that he was able to look after the funeral on the day and interment. Thank you to the team once again. Paul and family.

Dear Mr Lawrence,

I would just like to thank you for all the care and consideration I have been given since my husband RH passed away.

I have dealt with Karen Le Quelenec on all occasions and I have to say that nothing has been too much trouble for her. She has been so helpful.

When we initially came to see Karan she dealt with us so sympathetically. I have had experience of another Funeral Directors in Maidstone where I had to sit through (what seemed like hours) of up-selling of coffins, and handles, which I found extremely stressful. There was none of that with Karan – she dealt with that side of things swiftly.

When I came to see Richard, he was draped in a lovely velvet blanket in a beautiful room. Rather than a previous experience of a dingy room and a dirty net curtain draped over the deceased.
