In Memoriam Donations

In memoriam donations, if you have asked us to deal with them in lieu of flowers,

please allow us to set out what we will do for you.

Firstly, we would prefer all donations to get to the charity of your choice as quickly as possible. To this end we would like to create a JustGiving page for you, and the donors. This will provide a safe and swift method for donors to make their donations directly into the charities own bank accounts. It will also give immediate 24 hour access to the total raised for your selected charity. However should you prefer, we will also accept cheque donations here at the office, or passed to us by you, or passed to us at the service. Cheques will be sorted, acknowledged on your behalf, and kept safely until the list is finalised and closed. We do not accept any cash donations at any time.

When the list is closed, the cheques will be sent to the charity selected by you. We send an SAE with the cheques, and ask the charity to acknowledge their receipt to you. That way you will know they have arrived at the charity. We accept emailed receipt.

At the same time we send you the list of donors, along with any notes or letters that have been received. For your convenience, anyone who provides an address with their donation, will already have been acknowledged on your behalf.

If you, would like a gift aid form you should be able to download one here. If yours isn’t showing just let us know and we will add yours.
