I would just like to thank Michael and the team for all of their support in organising my father's funeral. We did not know how to approach it but after the first meeting, most things were agreed and a small list of queries remained. They treated the whole family with the right approach of care and compassion before and during the day and dealt efficiently with our queries and change of minds. I cannot recommend Family Funeral Services enough. We first used their services in October 2017 for my Auntie's funeral. Kim and Jo were so kind, supportive and understanding, helping us all through this difficult time. An extremely professional and compassionate service. Recently after the loss of our Mum, we used Family Funeral Services again. Once again we received excellent service. Michael helped us plan the day, and gave us guidance and ideas that we would not have necessarily thought of at such a difficult and sad time. Also, reassuring us, when we double/triple -checked arrangements by phone and emails (often out of Office hours). The Funeral was very special and unique for our lovely Mum. Thank you. My husband did not want a 'conventional funeral' or any kind of memorial, he simply wanted a funeral director to remove him from his death bed and arrange his unpublicised cremation as convenient. There were to be no flowers, no church service, no 'wake'. The Family Funeral Service complied with all his wishes, even down to not notifying me of any arrangements until they were all completed. Towards the end of his life, he asked me to bury his ashes and these were returned to me as requested. I was given the advice I needed and he was given the simplicity he had asked for. I have since recommended these funeral directors to a friend who asked where she could find a company who would do the same thing for her.

Karan and all at Family Funerals in Bearsted provided an outstanding service for us.

They took a huge weight off our minds at a very difficult time. Staff were always kind, compassionate and professional.

Nothing was too much trouble. The result was a perfect funeral service for our father.

We really appreciated the care and support they gave our mother too. She has significant mobility problems, and Karan and colleagues went above and beyond to ensure Mum had suitable transport to attend the service, wake and interment.

The FFS are very professional and well organised, at the same time as kind and caring. Fast feedback and progress to put everything in line for a carrying funeral. A lot of work was put in from them into the order of service layout and modification to meet our needs, without fuss. I would like to thank Sam for her untiring effects. Tara at FFS Headcorn is one in a million, she helped my daughter and I through every step of a daunting journey when I lost my Dad and made everything as easy as it could be during such an emotional event - so much so when I lost my Mum recently there was only one person I wanted taking care of her funeral and that was Tara. She gives great hugs too when you really need them!
